PGR / ECR Careers Session: Transitioning between the higher education systems of Continental Europe and the UK

As part of the newly launched BSHP Ambassadorship Scheme, the British Society for the History of Philosophy is delighted to announce an exclusive online career information session.

16 October 2026, 4:00-5:30 pm, UK time
Online; Registration Required

Moving between academic systems can be daunting, particularly with evolving funding structures, visa requirements, and institutional cultures. This session brings together four scholars at various career stages to share their first-hand experiences of transitioning between the higher education systems of Continental Europe and the United Kingdom.

The principal organiser and moderator of the event is BSHP Ambassador, Dr Luca Dondoni (Ruhr-Universität Bochum). You can reach him at for any questions.

Please register here.
