It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Stern, who was a much-valued member of the BSHP, and of the Management Committee from 2019-23. Bob’s wide-ranging and enthusiastic interest in the history of philosophy, together with his energetic encouragement of students and colleagues, was inspirational, and we shall miss him deeply. We aim to celebrate his work at a session of the next annual conference in the spring of 2025.
