Her research lies primarily in the history of ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, with a particular focus on Plato and the Early Platonic Academy, the history of Platonism, and Stoicism. She is especially interested in cosmology, theology, and ethics, as well as in examining the relationship between ancient philosophy and religion. Before joining Tübingen, she completed her PhD at Durham University (UK).

We launched our Ambassador Scheme in 2025. Ambassadors are postgraduate students or early-career researchers working on any area of the history of philosophy who do not yet have permanent posts.

In return for their contribution to the work of the Society, Ambassadors receive a mentor, workshop partipation, professional training, and a fee-waiver for BSHP memberssship and conference attendance. Find oout more about the scheme and the other ambassadors here.
