Introducing Jack Beaulieu, one of our 2026 Ambassadors

Jack Beaulieu is the Fellow by Examination in Philosophy at Magdalen College, Oxford. His research focuses on Sanskrit philosophy, especially the second-millennium author, Gaṅgeśa, the central figure of later Nyāya.

Jack has registered the BSHP as an affiliated group with the American Philosophical Association. He is organising a group session that showcases recent work by authors associated with the BSHP whose works engages underrepresented figures and traditions rigorously using the tools of the history of philosophy.

We launched our Ambassador Scheme in 2025. Ambassadors are postgraduate students or early-career researchers working on any area of the history of philosophy who do not yet have permanent posts.

In return for their contribution to the work of the Society, Ambassadors receive a mentor, workshop partipation, professional training, and a fee-waiver for BSHP memberssship and conference attendance. Find oout more about the scheme and the other ambassadors here.
