The BSHP holds a wide range of conferences and events, and supports many more through its funding schemes.
The BSHP Annual Conference, at which the Annual General Meeting is held, takes place every spring at a UK university. Normally, in even-numbered years, we hold themed conferences, and in odd-numbered years we hold larger, general conferences.
The BSHP Annual Lecture, now named the Antognazza Lecture, featuring a distinguished speaker in the history of philosophy, takes place every autumn.
We collaborate with the Forum for Philosophy to deliver a series of public-oriented, open-access events in history of philosophy in London.
We support a wide range of history of philosophy conferences, workshops, and events, within the UK and internationally. See here for upcoming events that we support.
BSHP members may apply for funding for conferences and events. To learn more, see our pages on funding and becoming a member.
